The Digitrax Analysis was done with Bradley Crouse (stroker) as our tester.  The test was performed on a Medium THS.

For Bradley, this is one of the stronger balls in his arsenal.  The Digitrax analysis confirms that the Tropical Heat Hybrid is far from a weak ball.  It’s playable on various conditions.  Bradley is launching the ball at 17.75 mph and the ball enters the pocket at 15.19 mph.  His target is inside 13 at the arrows and inside 8 at the breakpoint at 40 feet.

The Tropical Heat Hybrid generates 4.86 degrees of entry angle for Bradley, the most from all his Storm equipment on hand during the test.  I’ve included the analysis for the Storm Fast and 2Fast for comparison.    The Tropical Heat Hybrid is the strongest ball of the three, requiring more room in the heads as well as generating higher entry angle.  The Fast is a step down, being cleaner in the heads, while generating very similar entry angle.  The 2Fast covers the least amount of boards and generates less entry angle than the Tropical Heat Hybrid.  The R2S is very clean through the heads while the NOS core doesn’t make a huge move on the backend.  The Tropical’s Turbine core creates a more defined backend move as demonstrated on the Digitrax analysis.
