Hi would like to know with the 607a should it be left inoob for kegel shorter patterns? or should i take it down to 4000k? need help your opinion greatly helpful Bob
I ran this by the guys from http://www.bowlerx.com pro shop. We both agree that taking it down to 4000 or less would be a good idea to create a smoother, rollier reaction. You may even want to consider lower grit like 2000 or 1000 even to get it to roll smoother. Smoother ball reaction always works better on sport-type shots. The 607A SE is a flippier ball so adjusting the surface grit will help smooth it out.
Good Luck!
