Brunswick Ethos Solid

The Ethos Solid feels almost like a revival of the Melee Cross.

Power Player’s Persective
Here’s Jason again and now that we’ve seen the Track Stealth Mode which is in the Mid Control “benchmark” territory, the Ethos Solid is Brunswick’s version in this part of the bag. This one is finished 2000 as opposed to 1500 so a touch less grit. It also has a bit of lane shine so it clearly looks cleaner, weaker, slightly quicker off the spot. So now you start to have a distinguished shape from the last so called benchmark ball. This length and snap just really starts to get into over/under territory for this house shot. Jason is crossing lots of boards so now you have a ball going through multiple zones on the lane and then having to eventually respond to friction. So it becomes sensitive to what part of the lane it comes off of. It made more sense for him to get in a little deeper and get around it a bit more to improve the shape. So you get an idea of the Ethos Solid, even while it doesn’t happen to be the greatest match up to this pattern on this lane today.

He has them both plus DV8 Trouble Maker Solid in the bag and yet they all do slightly different things for him. Normally I wouldn’t recommend a house bowler have all these balls in the same bag but Jason is not a house bowler.

Thanks for watching.
